FAR frohn&rojas published in Young Architects 12: ReSource by Princeton Architectural Press and the Architectural League of New York

We are happy to announce that the book Young Architects 12: ReSource featuring work by FAR frohn&rojas and the other winners of the 2010 Architectural League Prize for Young Architects + Designers has recently been published. Find out more here.

Is Interni Magazine from Russia picturing what the new "down to earth" lifestyle might look like after having lived through a decade of decadence in architecture? ...not sure, but we are certainly enjoying seeing the Wall House taking center stage in this alternative to the common gloss of architectural documentation.

We are pleased to announce the opening of "Building Paradise", a group exhibit of 6 individual artists and 4 collaborative teams presenting works ranging between photography, video, architectural proposal, installations and performance.

Marc Frohn and Ilaria Mazzoleni will present "Inhabiting the Dream, HH 2100". Their large scale photo-montage envisions the Hollywood Hills in the year 2100. Climate change and meteorological shifts will have given birth to a new architecture. The team foresees a liberation of the hills, allowing them to evolve, dissolve and reconfigure themselves while the Angelenos will finally inhabit their dream: THE SIGN.

We hope you can join us at the 7+Fig Art Space for the opening reception. The opening is presented in conjunction with Downtown Artwalk.

On Wednesday, January 14th, DETAIL announced the winners of the prestigious DETAIL prize 2009. FAR won the "DETAIL Preis ArchitekturXport" for the Wall House. For more information have a look at the following link:
